Stenson is situated beside Stenson Lock on the Trent & Mersey Canal - 3 miles south of Derby. The rural surroundings provide a tranquil setting for the 100 berth marina and waterside park and yet is within easy travelling distance of Derbyshire's countryside and the new National Forest.

Stenson have earned a reputation for building quality canal boats at good value for money. Boats are built entirely on site from design, steelwork fabrication and final fitting-out and commissioning.

Boaters have extensive cruising options from Stenson - either on the central canal network or the nearby River Trent and East Midlands cruiseway.

Visitors can enjoy a trip on the Stenson Belle passenger boat or simply relax watching boats passing through Stenson Lock.
